In a Colder Clime.
We moved.
But we're still playing with trucks...
Checking out the new view from our windows while safe under Grammy's blanket...
And catching some snuggles and giggles where we can (in the diaper only, of course)!
That's all for now! :)

One Year of Change
Here is a photo collage of how Luke has changed from April of last year to April of this year.
He doesn't look too different but sure is acting a lot different!
Lately he's:
Talking up a storm
Making new connections
Getting mad when he can't have what he wants :P
Eating some new things
Still loving on books
Loving being outside
Singing songs

Backhoe Loaders & Toddler Beds
"How YOU doin'?" :)
"A Backhoe right outside my window!!! YAYYYY!"
New bed!
A backhoe loader rolled right up to his window last week since they had to dig up a root in the front yard, and it was the highlight of his month! He would check every day to see if it was still there, and it stayed for a whole week. Every time we'd pull into the driveway, he'd say "Backhoe! Backhoe!"
I have to share that Luke's favorite book right now is Robert McCloskey's "Homer Price".
It was a fave of mine in grade school, and has great illustrations. He loves the story about the doughnut machine and loves looking at the pictures. He doesn't have the patience to listen to me read the whole story, but he flips through the book all the time! I was planning on using it for homeschooling a lot later but am glad he has already taken to it. :)
Other things he enjoys doing is playing with his trucks, reading more books, snacking (!), playing outside, and going to the library. We try to go every Friday and get new books for him to look at. He goes to the church nursery on Sundays and some Thursdays, and has a great group of friends there.
Baby Hyde #2 is 31 weeks and coming soon (sort of)! Things are going well and all of us are healthy, thank God. We are all anxious to have him here and get things started as a new family of 4.
