Today was our 14 week checkup! Just a quick one (well, the waiting time of 40 mins wasn't) involving another heartbeat scan. Matt was able to come, so I was psyched!
The midwife scanned it around my belly for a few seconds trying to pick up the beat and there it was again! Beating strong and fast. Then all of a sudden there was a loud noise and she says, "Oh! Looks like we've got a kicker here!" Matt and I thought that was so funny we were both grinning...
We made our next appointment for June 10th and we will be doing another quick checkup plus getting the "Anatomy Scan" ultrasound that will tell us (hopefully) whether it is a girl or a boy. They will measure the limbs and things as well.

Mom, do you remember Autumn? The one who was kicking in the ultrasound at 12 weeks? She's a girl last time I checked ;)
I hope its a girl hahahahaha just coz i have so much cute girl stuff that was hardly touched by my viking baby's bottom!!!! But whatever I hope its a boy coz we need more boys in this world too :)
Wow.... another check up already? And yay that proud daddy could be there.... Very cool! And, a kicker....... I'm sure that precious gift of God is so adorable, no matter if it's a boy or girl....
