- Luke's Weight: approx 5-6 lbs.
- Luke's Length: 19-20 inches
- Heartbeat sounds good
- Mom's blood pressure: 110/60 (yay!)
- Mom's weight gain: perfect (said the Doctor!)
- Beta Strep Test taken today to determine if I am a carrier
Having trouble being comfortable while sleeping (obviously!). I have lower back pain whenever I bend over or try to do something STUPID, like move stuff around or pick up the dumb cat. LOL. Matt gave me a talking-to on this. I will be asking him for more help...
Lots of movement from the little one at this point. I don't really feel that it has decreased like it is supposed do, but maybe I just have a hyper-active baby. He gets the cutest hiccups (as cute as in-utero hiccups can be) quite often (daily?) and I wish there were something I could do to get them to stop for him.
I am enjoying being on maternity leave and having time to THINK and process what's going on rather than being hurried and stressed about work.
The weather has cooled down lately to a perfect 65 degrees which makes my last stretch of pregnancy so much more bearable. Short walks are being taken again, and, though I can't go far, it is better than nothing!
Now to get Luke's "room" cleaned up. It looks like a bomb hit it! :)

You look a lot less stressed than I've seen you looking for awhile, I guess "retirement" agrees with you!
Hiccuping is good for the baby and helps develop his little lungs--getting him ready for all that late-night crying that's coming up LOL!
Both the girls had tons of hiccups. They still get them a lot now! Definitely isn't bothering him :)
Glad everything is going so well...sounds like he is going to be a big baby! Autumn was 8 lb 3 oz and 21" when she was born and that was over due so if he is already between 20 and 21" then I bet he is also a 9 pounder!!!
oops! The 37 week email I got from Baby Center said those are the baby's approximate measurements and weight. So I don't know what he really weighs, but that is the average for 37 weeks (next week)!
Looking good, and it all is sounding good. yay! I can see why you'd want to try and help Luke with all his hiccuping....it's especially hard to watch a baby hiccup sometimes, even if it's cute....it still looks like it's painful. But then again, perhaps not ; - )
